COVID is really messing everything up. At least that is what I am told. Hopefully I get my interior here soon. I got my batteries today.

FNG question.. do the 1.9s perform better on a 2.2 wheels or is it purely aesthetic? I like the look a lot but have zero experience with it

This is the first time I have tried it too. It’s also the first time I’ve used predator compound as well.

Gotcha! My Capra has rc4wd boggers and they are hard as a rock so I’m looking to upgrade.. i like the look of the stretched 2.2s so i might go that route as well

I have those on my HPI Venture. They seem good enough for a trail rig that sees limited rocks.

Mine work decent but my brother has a Capra with proline predator tsl sx and there is a night and day difference. I’ve thought about cutting these to help them flex better

I cut my ProLine 1.9 boggers and they are better, seem grippier and don't pack dirt between the lugs anymore. I just cut all of the smaller lugs out. Pics in my Deadbolt thread.

Since I'm not 100% happy with the wrap on the body, I ordered some stuff from Barndog:

And came up with some ideas:

MacFab is doing a sweet hood for me but I don't want to post a pic of it yet.

I'm going to use some other sponsor stickers that I have laying around from some other builds so hopefully it is going to turn out pretty cool.

Quick update, got the hood in and it looks killer! Mac Fab did a fantastic job on it! Just waiting on some stickers to arrive and the interior and then I can fire it up for the first time.

That hood looks really great. So much better than the flat aluminum panels you see on a lot of Capras. The contours make all the difference.

He has company! I bought my kit back in July of 2020. It hasn't seen the outdoors yet!

Looks sooo good! Great job!

Interior and decals look great!

Love the hood! MAC FAB did an awesome job on it! Looks much better than the stock lexan.

Work has been crazy and I was rebuilding my Ascender to give to my buddy as a wedding present but finally got the Capra out today. Other than the slipper slipping too much at the end of the day, I was very pleased with the Tekin servo, the predator compound BFG’s and the rig as a whole. Here is a couple pics of our outing.

So, I spent some money on cool parts…

Should I do portal over drive gears in the front, diff overdrive in the front, or diff under drive in the rear? This won’t be a hardcore crawler, 50/50 trail/crawling.
