Default extra shock or sway bar or both

Here's a question for ya. Do you think you still need a sway bar if you run dual shocks in the rear? What would the pro's and con's be to one or the other or both?

dual shocks aren't meant to replace a rear (or front) anti sway bar.

The rear has so much travel that no matter how much damping you add, your still going to want the roll stiffness added by the sway bar if you plan on doing anything resembling "handling" at higher speeds.

I don't have my Bomber in my hands yet, but I suspect the rear is so floppy that even as a crawler the sway bar will be beneficial.

The added damping provided by the second shocks helps with jumping an such. No need for them if just crawling.

Advantages to dual shocks would include more precisely adjustable damping, since you now have more options at each corner for oil/pistions, and more total oil capacity (the stockers leak, so more oil means longer running before damping is lousy), plus the bling factor.

Downsides would include cost, added weight, added maintenance time, and likely a bit of a learning curve to get setup.

These are generalities. Meaning you can thicken the oil (or go to pistons with smaller/few holes) in your single shocks to achieve similar damping as lighter oil in dual shocks. Changing spring rates also changes roll stiffness, meaning stiffer springs will require a softer bar to maintain the same roll stiffness.
