If you are going to trail the Bomber then you would probably not want to do an UD in the rear only as it will cause binding in the driveline. I have gone to an UD setup front and rear along with a home made (for now) sway bar in the rear and it has greatly helped with twist. There is some still present, but nowhere near as bad as it was without those two changes.

With a wraith trail arm on a bomber, what are the options for sway bar? Maybe not required with a shorter wheel base?

Ok, the UD in both axles makes sense. I ordered another set of UD gears and a pair of the Dlux housings today (so the new gears will last longer without shimming). I am going to be running the Yeti Vanguard 3150kv brushless motor with a 2 speed trans, along with the UD gears I think it will crawl and maintain decent trail speed. I will have pinions in 12t, 14t, and 16t to choose from. I am also going to use the stock Yeti rear sway bar and possibly heavier shock oil to tame the twist if needed I also ordered the Dlux housing and bulkhead for my Yeti (along with some 500K fluid for the front diff) but since I am going to have multiple spare stock gear sets I am not going to bother with the hardened gears for now. |

I put VP/Currie sway bar on & it made a huge difference in TT. I still have the under drive front a rear to do as well.

With the setup I described above there is no noticeable torque twist on my setup using the 12t pinion. The top speed is somewhere around 20 mph on 3s and it does crawl ok in low gear. I haven't changed anything with the shocks yet, at this point the main changes will be targeted at limiting the rollovers.

Sounds like your moving in the right direction to reduce TT. In your list of upgrades don't forget the obvious ones. TF Mod: Trigger Finger WMS Mod: Wrist Movement for Steering * Don't get in the habit of what i call Snap Steering where you let go of the steering wheel and it Snaps to Center. Bad for servos and driving technique |

I should add that I did program the Vanguard setup with the castle link. I reduced power to 90% and added 50% punch control.
