Default Mat's RR10

Being lucky that I have an understanding girly to feed my rc addiction come xmas and birthdays, she got me a RR10 for xmas

Like most of you guys I quickly set about putting my own spin on it but trying to keep true to the 1:1

Parts added so far...
Vanquish trailing arms
Vanquish yeti rear upper links
Vanquish Wraith stage 1 kit
Vanquish Wraith upper and lower links
Vanquish Sway bar
SSD steering link
Fake 105's with Vanquish rings and SSD hardware
RC4WD king shocks (using the Kings just for springs and the axial shocks for damping) No idea how it'll work yet.
Thrown in my Yeti esc and motor also.

Playing around with the Axial light bar kit at the mo, trying to add a light bar and make it solid is proving to be a bit of a mare!

I'll add some better pics soon.

Good looking rig so far. Keep us updated on how that shock setup works out. I was thinking of doing the same thing on mine.

Added a 6v regulator to run my lights

Tidied all that up and heatshunk to the main esc lead

The rears have a few flashing sequences.

Looks great! I like the blue beadlock rings. How easily did the Fanquish wheels mount to the Axial BFGs? Considering getting a set of black wheels for my stock tires but I'm not sure how easily they'll assemble with all the ribs in the tires.

Do the Fanquish wheels use SLW hubs?

And the beadlock rings can just be swapped out?

What regulator part number did you use? This might be a better option than using a BEC. . .

Great thread and awesome rig!

The PN is on the face of it (TS7806). These KA7806ETU Fairchild Semiconductor | Mouser can be used as well if you have trouble finding that PN.

Thanks, great idea using a small inexpensive regulator like that for your lights! Bomber is looking good!

The beadlock rings can be swapped out no problem but the stock hardware will not fit into the rebate that the Vanquish rings have.

Thanks all, and thanks for chiming in with answers

I found another alternative to the 6v regulator, dirt cheap too...
