All I did for my aluminum panels was cover the stock ones in blue painters tape, trim around the outside, peel the tape off, transfer the pattern to aluminum and trim with hand shears then punched holes for the screws. Easy peasy

Thanks, coming from you, I appreciate it!! Don't worry, I won't be trying to put you out of business!! Do you have to redrill the hood pin holes? Haven't done the hood yet.

The hardest part was getting the rear bend in the right spot for the bend around the rear

You shouldnt have to redrill them just measure it a few ways before drilling

Looks good, I am a fan of wrapping the tubes. If you do another roof, wrap the sides as well for coolness multiplier.

My hood is tight to get the pins in now, hopefully the alum hood will close a bit tighter

Not too stoked on how the hood came out, but now that it's done I have a few different ideas for the next one

Yeah the stock plastic hood has multi-plane bends. Tried to re-create them with the aluminum hood. It's not perfect but it looks better than being completely flat.

The hood needs a cowl the width of the cow bars tapering to the nose of the hood. Make it about 1/8" tall tapering to nothing. Kinda like the camaro or corvette hoods. That would look da bomb.....

BPC makes an aluminum hood with a cowl.
