Default Aluminum panels.

What thickness are guys building panels out of? Would flashing be alright to do, I know it's flimsy . I'm thinking I want my panels to get dented when I roll or what not.

I made panels from dollar tree cookie sheets. Cost is $3.00 with plenty left over. Dents nicely

I got a used warith with .025 panels. I just switched to .040 a little thick and not to easy to bend in small spots.

Never thought of cookie sheets, hmm...scraps can be used for scale stuff too. Nice idea!

Those cookie sheets are not aluminum are they? Isn't that steel coated with teflon? It will rust up nicely if not painted.

I'm using AMF's panels which are .040 in which they describe it as "tough aircraft grade" but I assume they just mean that it's an alloy and not 100% aluminum.

wow.. terrific idea on the cookie panel sheets, I bought some turkey oven panels but the aluminum is really too thin for the wraith panels.

I just made side panels from a very thin aluminum "no trespassing" sign that I got at home depot. If you want to see dents and creases as they happen naturally while wheelin', this is awesome stuff to use.
