| Bomber shock rebuild
Hi, puzzled why my Bomber seemed more prone to tipping or failing hill climbs (wheelie) and turns out the front shocks have leaked most of the oil. I have ordered some 30 and 50 weight silicone oil (30 for front and 50 for rear) and I read the Axial thread about shock rebuild which mentions using grease on the shaft seals but not the type of grease. What grease should I use? Presumably a synthetic grease because the shock oil is silicone? |

Shock o-ring grease. Associated Green Slime is the most common stuff but Protek and a few other RC companies sell it. Bike and motorcycle shops also sell grease meant for lubricating fork seals which works as well.
