Yotachump, Just got done reading this. Very nice upgrades and with your experience coming from the comp world look forward to all your set ups. I'm still learning but can't deny you put some serious thought into this. I'll be following for sure. |

Finished this 2weeks ago, I just haven't gotten around to posting anything. A few things that need to be done. Thinner shock oil in the front, increase the anti squat in the rear with some kind of axle truss, widen the track width a hair, and a 11tooth pinion.

Have you managed to get your MMX working smoothly with your Tekin ROC412? I've tried two MMX ESCs and they both make the ROC412 cog horribly.

I have no problems with cogging. Maybe once in a while under some extreme load but that's as expected. I've been following your thread about that issue and still want to see pictures of everything. Also what's your pinion size?

Finally got out the drill press, sander and file and built my truss. This should help with the lack of anti squat. The truss raises the upper links .225" over the stock location. Last edited by yotachump; 11-29-2016 at 05:45 PM. |

Really crappy video, but here is before and after I changed the link placement for increased anti squat. Both times the truck is full throttle with the throttle at 50% in the transmitter to keep it from flipping over. However, now with the increased anti squat, even at 100% full throttle the truck will NOT flip over under acceleration. Last edited by yotachump; 11-30-2016 at 09:21 AM. |

After really getting the feel for the truck and beating the crap out of it, the COG was too high for me. Although I liked the placement of the battery as far as how forward it was, it was just to high. I came up with this, running two 1350 3s batteries in parallel. Handling has been greatly improved, however I will need to add a little bit of weight up front now.

There's no white showing through on the skid; you have lots more crap to beat out of it |
