Default Chump's U4 Bomber

After taking a 5 year break from comp crawling I've decided to give u4 a chance. This will be a slow, but steady build, and I'll try not to post to much of the boring stuff. Shout out to SMW for the awesome parts!!
Axles have Incision lockers and ax10 trans is fully built. I will be upgrading parts as I go, I want to get the essentials first.

No way ill be driving a truck this tall. Looks like ill be needing to get some shocks and longer upper links. This is the way it will sit until I order some parts. Next update whenever I order the parts.

Flip the front smw mounts over, it'll drop the front down a little bit. Could also move the rear shock to the middle trailing arm holes...

Would it be possible to raise the shock mounts at the chassis? Use a little CF bracket maybe.

Found some shafts that are .200" shorter and then took .150" off of the bodies. Much better

Pictures are before and after.

Nice to see you back! Well you have a few weeks before the next race so lets finish this thing. What are you going to run for electronics?

Thanks Joel, I'm excited. If its not finished by the next comp, surely it will be by November. I'm just trying not to spend to much at once on this thing. Mamba Monster X with a Tekin 412 3100kv. As for the servo, what ever I can find for now.
All I'm waiting for right now is the ESC, Wheels, foams and knuckles.

Since you're doing the U4/bashing thing I have a set of new 2.2 C.I. D.W. tall foams if you need em.

Making some slow progress. it's sitting much better with the shorter shocks. Using some comp wheels I had made 5 years ago until I get something else. For the transmission, I added a Hot racing double up Traxxas Slash slipper clutch and am using an E-maxx disc brake pad for the slipper pad, should work pretty good, I hope.
