I would have just bent the first one, but glad it cleared up your issue.

I have a build started for my 6 year old and the incisions will go on his...win-win! But, you are right as were the other proposed mods. Pick and choose my battles, ha!

With some room to spare! Now I will say this, and I know SSD is lurking on this thread, the rod end design for the SSD link seems weaker than the Incision design. I am assuming these have been proven to be plenty strong?
Our rod ends have proven to be very strong.

Well my 6 year old used the bomber yesterday and ran it into something. Next thing I know, the SSD steering link is popped off with the set screws remaining in the link and the rod ends remaining on the C-hubs. Was able to screw the rod ends back on, but not sure these can handle my 6 year old, ha. Then again, most products don't last when a 6 year old gets a hold of it.

Where can I get more of these SSD rod ends in case they are / get stripped?

Easier solution to that problem is to not let a 6-year-old drive a hobby-grade, expensive RC. Give them an ECX Temper or some Redcat and they'll be happy.
