Question Need help with TX/RX, throttle

Ok guys, i've got a new RTR, out of the box, the steering and throttle is all backwards.
I've got the steering issue fixed, with the switch in Normal, it steers left and right as it should, but when I pull the trigger, it goes in reverse, and vice versa...when I put the switch into REVERSE, it doesn't do anything.

So to make it go forward, I have to push the trigger forward, and pull to go reverse....also, when I go in reverse, and let off, it stops on a dime....when going forward and i lt off, it rolls to a stop.

I tried to rebind it and as far as the LED on the RX, it says that it is good. But still does the same thing.

I'm betting the throttle needs to be reversed and then calibrated to the ESC.

You should be able to find a procedure on the Google machine but it's likely similar to:

Hold full throttle while turning ESC on
Wait for a beep (might be a long beep)
Now hold full reverse
Wait for a beep (might be a long beep)
Now release the trigger to neutral
Wait for a beep (might be a long beep)

Turn everything off and then back on, should be good to go.

Thanks!

I actually did something similar to that...basically what the manual said to do, it didn't work....I will give this a try....A coworker gave me something to look at as well...which I didnt think about...check to see if the leads coming of the motor on on backwards...says he's seen that before, even with a new out of the box kit.

Yeah, it's brushed...I went ahead and ordered a new esc and motor...went with a Hobbywing 1080 and a Titan 21T ...I'll start from scratch.
