What esc mount did you use and how is it mounted?

Traxxas VXL Rustler ESC plate, RPM Mamba X cage, and enough spacers to clear the cage, but not too high. It's attached to the shift servo mount.

I enjoyed reading your thread. I picked up that same ESC cage.

I'm real OCD with my wiring.
My lighting and winch stuff are all secured the cage, when I remove my cage I take off one side panel also, I can unplug my KOH lights from the harness, and 2 screws to remove my ESC switch, and everything comes apart, minimal effort.

At the end I got it all sorted.

What I've got:
CC Mamba X (010-0155-00)
CC Brushless 1406-2850kV (060-0070-00)
CC Telemetry Link for Spektrum X-BUS (010-0148-00)
CC Quick Connect Duo (010-0149-00)
CC Castle Link V3 USB Programming Kit (011-0119-00 )
Spectrum SPMSR4000T receiver

I must admid, that I had to grind the bottom and the lid of the receiver box, to fit it all in.
Until now I have nothing to seal the wire inlet, but got the lid closed.

After enabling the live link and the aux mode in the programming of the Mamba it all runs now. Except sending the Motors temperature neither via the telemetry nor data log.
