| Non-standard electronics mount locations..?
Anyone have a better place to mount a Mamba X and a castle 2.0 BEC...? The ESC will overhang the receiver box a fair amount in either orientation, plus it makes it difficult to route wires with it shoved snug against the battery. not to mention being a pain in the arse if I ever want in the receiver box. How is everyone mounting their stuff? Tw |

I made an ali firewall at the back and mounted my MMX on there. I originally had a Mamba X where you said....didnt have any issues. The Monster is a bit too big though.

I stuck my ESC beside the tranny.

I mounted mine on a Traxxas ESC plate for a vxl Rustler on top of the shift servo mount holes, with spacers. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk |

I attached a plate to the top of the receiver box that extends it toward the battery tray. The plate is narrow enough that the receiver box screws are still accessible, and I used Velcro to attach the ESC to the plate so that the receiver is still accessible without significant amounts of surgery.

Any thoughts on where to mount the ESC without a Wraith trans and dig with servo? The receiver box is eliminated with this configuration. I have a mamba x.

I am running a Mamba X with stock bomber trans. I used this bracket I got from the hardware store. I cut the ear off the right side from the middle and then extended the hole on the top. I then used some spacers and mounted it using the holes for the shift servo. By cutting off that ear its easy to remove the cage from the skid. |
