I'd caution against using a Promodeler, I've had issues with the 470 going limp when it gets loaded up, this happens on 3 separate 470's and one is in my Brother's Gom and he's complained about it going all soft too. Its truly a well built servo and I really want to like it but something in the programming is not working well with crawlers and especially 2.2 rigs. I've tested this with a BEC and straight off a 2S battery BTW.

I've broken a handful of the SHV550 V2's (and V1's) when bashing, the center pin is still a weak point in my experience but it is rebuildable. This servo lacks no power though and If you dont plan on bashing should be great.

You are off base and should send it back.

Mine rip off rod ends, twist up links and cause all kinds of mayhem when the front end isnt set up correctly.

I quickly upgraded my stock RTR servo to a Savox 1283sg and have had zero issues, except for the noise.

1283sg on my Bomber, no complaints but its noisy like others have said. Looks great with the silver Vanquish axles.
I'm going to get a promodeler for it probably at some point with more torque and speed and toss the 1283sg on my 1.9 truggy.
It's hard to budget on a servo on a bomber, you'll just break cheaper servos. The Promodeler and Holmes servos are both $100, about same price as a 1283sg ($93) but nee 8.4v to perform.

My Promodeler is on 8.0V from my Mamba X and I'm quite happy with the performance.

Project delayed a bit but finally ordered a Holmes Hobbies HV500v2 Servo tonight, ccbec since I will be running 2s and 3s batteries at times, ssd rear trailing arms, vanquish servo mount plate and vanquish servo horn. Cant wait to get this rig in running shape. I just put a promodeler 470 in my scx10 last month and havent had a lot of chance to test it but so far so good. Decided on the holmes due to replaceable gear sets available to buy and always had great luck with holmes products.
