Well i use 3M's dual lock velcro. It holds on tight, which is good enough for the defender body IMO

FINALLY!!!
finally my parts have arrived in the post this morning... from ordering (out of stock) on the 2nd August.... taken fawkin ages to get here from the USA, I feel sorry for people further out of the way getting stuff from the USA.

Wheelbase is spot on now! just to get the body mounted. speaking to a buddy of mine about making up a full Exo cage! would most probably be out of aloooooominum rod () as you guys call it ;).

I would post up a pic of the body sitting on, but i cant find my camera anywhere! and i dont want to torture you guys with phone cam pictures!

i ordered it when out of stock, then it had to get the UK distributor (CML), then to the model shop. then two days for Royal Mail to fart about with it.

Will try to get some pictures up tonight! Have some college work to do for tomorrow, so will have to wait to take pics! gotta find my camera first too!

Cheers, that is useful, as that one is my second choice winch... I really want the wireless, RC4WD one.

thanks anyway!

landy-ross, don't you think having a winch that can be controlled with the transmitter is cooler than having it controlled wirelessly with what looks like your 1:1's key fob or is it just me? either way, as someone with a back-burnered d90 build himself, i love seeing how all of you guys have been approaching your builds. keep up the good work.

Well yes it would be. But for now I am only using a 2ch Radio.... I will be getting a 1:1 within the next 6 months. so this is more of a side hobby.

Just waiting to hear back from my mate who will be building me the rear crossmember, winch bumber and Full exo cage... he's a bit busy at the moment.

Starting to sort out the cage now... been talking to my buddy (www.flyingspanners.net) about building the cage so I have been messing around with shapes in powerpoint to design it! Colour was originally just to distinguish it from the picture behind... but i really like it now, and it matches the SCX10 wheels! what you guys think?
