Well I think I may try 87/18 first and see how I like it. I may go 87/23 since I like wheel speed and the 1.9's are a little smaller than I am used to. Hell I may even drop a little on the spur. It really depends on what the cage ends up weighing in at. As for the ESC, it may be the Tekin FXR but I also have two Holmes Hobbies Torque Master ESC's coming in. Those things have CRAZY specs!

]Thanks man, I figured I had to try something new always try and push for something cool to see. It was longer than I wanted but speed it up anymore and you lose a lot of the action.

Here is a 2 min video of some in-car and out of car at KOH this year. The Tracker is a little beat up after the last event so post an old picture. Scott http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dr9Y65cNOXo |

| Alright the camera system is in. I made some quick parts to just make sure everything works. I recorded most of the process, getting it edited and uploaded now. |

[QUOTE=Harley0706;1979663]This cage is going to be tied into the frame of the SCX instead of just a topper. I also talked to Jerry today and it will be all steel as opposed to aluminum. Hopefully I will drop it off tomorrow. Nice That is the same as mine will be. Is Jerry soldering the cage right to the SCX? Or will it bolt up How long does it take to get the rig back from him? I can't wait to show off my new scaler after all the problem Halloween started I going for blood with this one |

| Part 2 - Camera System Fabrication I ran through the fabrication last night so that I could get it to Jerry today. The plate that mounts the servo to the frame is not final. I will mill a final piece on the CNC that moves the servo in 1/8" closer to the motor. One thing I did want was SOME bounce to the mount. So that it looks like your head is getting thrown around in rough terrain. Get it? |

| It's hitting the window area of the body so we should be ok. I am bringing it over today to drop it off. I will bring the camera and everything. Last edited by Harley; 09-06-2009 at 01:02 PM. |

Cool video, however I just went out to the garge and looked at the 1:1 RubberBellyRacing Tracker and it is Red not Green also the wheel base of the "scale" rig looks to be a little too long. Are you going to cut the top off like we did on the real car? JBYB Richard. |
