New body is on the way - Check Wheelbase - Deal with it Cage - dropping it off at the Slash bash, I will probably have Jerry do an aluminum skin on the roof like the 1:1 too Last edited by Harley; 09-08-2009 at 08:54 AM.

Man the guy driving it up the sand hill sure is good lookin. I wish the car still looked that good but after the KOH LCQ and 6 comps this year it was over on each side once so it is a little beat up. As for the wheelbase to be sacle it will need to be 8.9". |

| Does anyone know of a sound unit available that is throttle activated? The Tamiya MFU doesn't quite fit what I want, and I don't know that I have room for it. Last edited by Harley; 09-08-2009 at 08:53 AM. |

I'm sure you'd be able to find something similar on your side of the pond.

| Well the rig is in the DMG's capable hands now. I hate dropping trucks off......feel like I don't have anything to do With the truck I dropped off a flash drive with almost 200 pics of the 1:1 on it. Lots of planning to do still and have things to get ordered. I really want to figure out a sound unit. Still haven't found anything that I am confident in ordering. I don't need a large speaker, something small that I can place by the mic on the camera will do just fine. We also did some SC bashing while over there (I maintain the position that SC trucks are dumb as hell). Here is some video from this afternoon (watch the HQ version): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ITkAQ1iZgs |

The 1:1 version is a cool little rig, the scale version should be sweet as well knowing Jerry's tube skills. As for the SC comment, you know you had fun! |

For sound look into this. The owners name of the site is Bill and is a super guy to deal with. http://rccommand.com/tank%20battle%20systems.php It is made to be a battle system for tanks, but has sound on board that is proportional with idle and I am pretty sure you can also upload your own sounds. I don't know for sure if it will work but it's worth a look I figure. |

| yes "RICHARDS" newest rig is now in the realm of the DmG !! decided to not let everyone miss out on the tube work. got to do a little work on it today. the hardest part for me is coming up with a good base to work of from. this one was not to bad , the rock sliders will carry the interior roll cage. 3/16" rod & steel plate bolted to the SXC chassis will work great. so far ,so good !! they came out just like the 1:1 version. more to come. the DmG |

I like the rock sliders Jerry You know you need to put RC4WD white scaler shock on this rig. That what's in the 1.1 That looks like a great base to start from. Last edited by sally1800; 09-08-2009 at 10:36 AM. |
