Brandon, can you do a little how-to or list the things needed to use the 4-link bracket? It looks like I need some short links, but I don;t know what length to use.

I think that helped. Let me make sure I got it right. The stock upper length is 60mm + 20mm = 80mm upper links?

Yup, that will give you the correct rear pinion angle. Or really close.

Thanks again for the info. I got it installed and am pleased with how it turned out.

Is Axial going to make 80mm links for this conversion?

Brandon, I have a question for you.

I love the look of your orange Trail Ranger, so I accidently picked one up this weekend when I stopped by CKRC.

My question is, is the wheelbase of the Dingo/TR the same as the Trail Ranger, or do I need to change the wheelbase to use the Trail Ranger body? I'd check at home, but I'm at work and I want to know if I need to pick up anything, like links, on the way home.

It fits just fine. Depending on how low you mount the body you may have to trim the fenders to clear the tires. Also that body is narrower so take a look at the blog posts or my Trail Ranger build to see how I modified the Sliders and bumper.

Default RTR Build?

An RTR Scaler and a RTR build thread - two things I never thought I would see ;) Truck looks good and like everything from Axial I am sure it performs well too.

Did some more work to it last night! Getting ready to do some video with Bender. Needed some more scale goodies

New changes:
wild willy gas can.
Pro-Line high lift jack.
Swapped the wheels and hubs.
Moved the battery to the front.
Added the Warn stickers to the 3Racing winch.
Installed the Axial Steering wheel and shifters.

This truck is sick! I saw that it comes with plastic links. Are there ALU links out for this rig? aka- are the parts the same size from the scx10 kit and the TR truck?

Thanks Jon. The Wild Willy can is the perfect size. I was going to use the Pro-Line one but it was a little too small for this body.

Thank you. Yes the aluminum links from the kit will fit. You will also need the rod ends as well.

Same here! Bender is really good at making video's so I will be able to learn a lot from him.

Looking good Brandon. I wanted to ask where you relocated the two lights that the winch replaced?

Thanks
