FYI, on the next body, JR's grill is narrowed 12" which would be 1.4" in scale (or about 1 3/8").

Thanks Grizzly for all your help. I really like to drive this rig now. I have also put on some MIP CVD's, Axial Aluminum Rear Axle Lock-out, Axial Aluminum C's, Axial Aluminum Steering Knuckles, and Robinson Racing harden Trans Gears. I forgot I also put in a slipper

I put some Pro-line Chisels on the Axial wheels there nice. With the links spread to 12.375 they look really good.

Today I had a free morning to take the Pirate out. It was raining for the last two day's and all the leaves are fallen. So it was pretty hard to see where I was going. I have taken the stock Pro-Line Black upper springs off and took the bottoms move them to the top. Then I took the longer ones they gave with the set and put them on the bottom. It made a build improvement in how these shocks work. I also took the stock 2.2 Axial wheel and threw some Chisels on. They handle pretty nice in the thick stuff. I drove for about a hour before my next problem. The three link rear has to go. Go thing JR 1.1 has a 4 link set-up.

was your suspension too soft? It seems like the suspension would be super hard with the springs you put on it

Glad you went with the same way I am doing my Pirate up.
Now if I can just get it back so I can work on it,lol.

Jelousy is a tall cup of broken glass I am swallowing everytime I see your truck! Im gagging because I want to play too.
Well I took it off. It just left me :? So I guess I will just deal with it. After receiving a pm from JR on his paint. It hides the seam much better.

Like I said in my PM, the only way I've found to hide the seam is to not have one. I cut down the sides on the body line, between the fenders and the hood. Then you narrow the hood evenly on both sides. It would require some extra mounting tabs, and the body wouldn't be all one piece, but sometimes you have to make compromises on these things .

I just realized how narrow that pictures makes my Bronco look :?, it's the full width of a stock Bronco body at the windshield.

Good luck Brian, I hope you get it figured out, and lose the Pirate sticker......

Tim yes I took that Pirate off faster than I put it on. I was thinkng about just doing some cool pin strips. Then I thought I cut a a lot of masks I work in prepress I cut these every day back in the day. So I went to look for some vinyl. Sure enough there a graphic vinyl car place about two mile from my house. So I bought a foot for $8. Started to draw.

I still need to do the sides

Well it time to start the inside Jack is getting mad
I got my recaro seat's that I was looking for. I also got a few more goodies. My plan is to cut out the floorboards and center console in styrene. After make it from metal. I figure the styrene will be easy to work. So the fun begins

Jack fit good but the Jacket is long.
