Thank you. Aluminum ones would be sweet looking. Diamond plate?

Mounted the toolbox along with a spare tire.

Started opening up the grill

There's a fuel tank in there somewhere.

Default New Shocks

Great looking Hilux - super build. Hey, if you can't beatem joinem(I did the same thing). What happened to the RC4WD white shocks? I liked those and with some rancho stickers and boots - too cool.. Are you thinking about installing a Panhard bar or do the leaf springs give enough laterally stability?

And remember, don't make it look too good or you won't want to take it out and beat it against the rocks!

The rc4wd shocks are for sale in the b/s/t section. They were too chubby, so I switched to some thinner shocks. Not sure if I need a panhard or not.

I'm trying to make it look good, but not too good as to where it has all sorts of fiddly bits that will fall off while wheeling.

Nice work! I really like that RCBros leaf kit. The tube work looks great as well!

They are Hot Racing MRC shocks. Took the springs off and filed down the threads.

Love the ipod. That dash looks great!

Thanks for the tip on the shocks. I know I keep pestering, but when you have a chance if you could post another picture of the shock all mounted up. Just curious how the size looks.

Thanks for the pics. They look great. much better imo than the "chubbies". I still can't figure out my manufacturers won't release a more scale looking shock.

Did you strip the paint off your leafs? The rc4wd's come on in red right? I was debating just shooting mine with some spray paint.

Where did you find that shock mount on the rear axle? By the way, very nice build!

No prob dude. I stripped the red paint off, then gave them a mist of flat black and let em rust.

It's the leaf spring/shock mount from the rcbros kit

Worked on the interior, still have some work left. Doesn't look too horrible for being built around an axial transmission and motor.
