Default '84 Toyota with a flatbed

This is my build off entry over on scale4x4
So far I've installed the RcBros leaf spring kit. I think it looks awesome on the scx. I'll be painting all of the silver features black, then weathering them.

That's looking badass man, what shocks did you use? And was it a pretty easy swap with the leafs?

I'm using rc4wd 80mm scale shocks. It was a fast and easy swap. Bolts right up.

They have a fair amount of flex.

There was still a little more left in the shock, but I don't have enough weight.

Do the leafs come with the kit? If not what ones are you using? Looking good and making me want to do one

I already have boots for the shocks, but everything is getting a light weather so they'd only be in the way.

The kit makes it super easy to do, I recommend it.

Thanks. Oh I don't really care if it's another Hilux. I love these trucks. I'd rather see these than some others.

The leaf springs do not come with the kit. I'm using the red rc4wd leaf springs. (At least they were red when I first got them)

Oh, and I forgot to mention. This is going to be a flatbed and will have an interior. Does anyone know where I can get a clear windshield?

The weathering is real rust on the leaf springs.

It's the same chassis. Right?

The wheels are run of the mill Axial 8 hole 1.9 beadlocks. I just painted them black.

I should get a kick back for promoting this kit.

Driver. Hey there big fella.

Dude you need to post this and your 4runner over here! www.rctoyotas.com It is a sick new site and your builds would be cool to have there.
