I think I just had an accident in my pants over the last picture. I wish I had the ability to do that but have learned that styrene and I just don't get along......

Looking mighty fly with the "brothers" shot and congrats on another fine build!

Sorry about your trousers dude. Don't give up on styrene though! And thanks for the compliments.

Don't know why, but I'm just really stoked on these straps I made

I hate the plastic-y look of the tools, so I went ahead and weathered them then shot em with Dull coat.

Dude looks like he is WTF'ing so hard. Must be listening to LA Guns.

Rear view mirror and air freshener

Used silver leaf for the lettering

Also done with leaf

Looks !

The attention you have for details on the scaler is downright amazing. Now you're done with the runner and the hilux. Whats next?

Thanks. Well...I guess I'll build another...Toyota!
I'm going to build a replica of my 08 Tundra on a cc-01. I also want to build a trailer for the Tundra so I can haul this rig. That will be much later in the year though!

I'm fan of Toyotas myself too. I'm almost done with the Honcho and once I do then I'm going to build a scaler with Fj Cruiser body on a set of 1.9 flat irons.

Again, for a great work on the hilux and the runner.

Calling dibs on the runner if you plan to sell it.

My first scaler was a FJ. Thanks again! I'll keep you in mind if I ever get rid of the 4Runner.

I guess it would be counter-intuitive to have a roll cage, but no seat beat.

Now that is an awesome picture 2 kick ass rigs!

BTW, the weathering came out great, its just enough to make it look realistic.

O and where did you get the tree freshener from???? That is one of the best interior scale items EVER!

Many thanks dude! I got the air freshener from the original scx10 kit decal sheet. I think you have one for the 4door you're building? I folded the stickers over on themselves with a piece of thread. Then strung it up on the mirror like a real one.

Hey sorry, I didn't see the question. It's 3/16 square solid steel stock. I got it at my local steel supplier. Came in 12 foot length. I guess it's also called key stock
