Awesome orginal truck and upgrade, I am just getting into scalers and can't exactly decide what to build. But I think it will start with an SCX10 by the looks of it.

Im not sure right now this rig is actually my 6 year old sons. He likes the Western front bumper. We will see what the future holds though it is going to start snowing soon and I will be cooped up inside soon and may have some time then!

Yes a SCX10 is a awesome base rig for what ever scale direction you want to go

do you suggest the trail ready or would the kit be better to start off with an scx 10

That depends if you have electronics to go in it our not. If you dont have any they I say get a rtr its a good way to start and just upgrade as u can

Ok I'm pulling this rig off the shelf and revamping it I added some new sheet metal to the rear making it more like a bed for some gear let me know what you think of it or have any suggestions on what to do next.

I really like Fords and I really need to build one now. Great truck it's just fantastic. Lets see some pics of it out doing something and not just stuck on your bench!
