Thanks for the nice comments fellas...

Well it's long overdue for an update, Haven't done a lot to it over the winter but it's almost completed the way I want it now.

Changed the pain job slightly by adding some gunmetal gray to the top and made a new bumper.

At this point the bumper needed a lot of tidying up and filling with aluminium weld.

Loving the new paint and the bumper looks great. Just curios if you could mount it a little closer to the body to help with your approach angle?

Use durafix and make your own, it's not that tricky when you get the hang of using the stuff.

Thanks man, but don't you mean you're getting one for yourself and you might let her have a go?

The chainsaw is actually a usb flashdrive I found on ebay. Sprayed it up to make it look used.

That's something I hadn't thought of until you mentioned it. It's going to be tricky to alter it now but you're right. I'm on it.

Thanks Anthony.

Just thought I would show a few pics of the electronics, there housed in a small waterproof food container. The yellow thing is the relay for part of the light system. The brake (stop and tail) controller has been dipped in plasti-dip and glued inside the body shell.

the bumper looks a lot better when closer to the body, but it looks funny becuase the stinger tube is too big IMO.

What's a stinger tube buddy? I'm no expert or anything, I was trying to make it look rugged and to be strong. Are the proportions wrong?

the tube on your front bumper that comes to a point, the tube is too large. looks like somebody running a 6-8in tube stinger on a 1:1, and they usualy dont use anything over 2in. it doesnt look too bad because of the plastic tube cage, but just doesnt look right

How come I haven't seen this vid yet, reminds me of the 'fainting goats!'
Seems top heavy or maybe stiff suspension....? Is it tipping like that or was not as bad as it seems in the video?

Lol.... Not top heavy, I made the mistake of setting up the camera to view the rig looking horizontal, when infact some of the angles were really steep.

Yeah I came to the last one in Epping, (my first time with the club) great bunch of fellas.

Well it's all changed now, I changed the honcho body for a hilux. Never liked the look of the honcho anyway.

Bugger me that is damn awesome!!!! Miles better than the honcho body. Paint scheme is fantastic! Scale bits are on the mark too. Yet another fine example of a scale yota. Brilliant work sir. keep the updates coming.
Viva le hilux!

Cheers
