How is your ESC mounted?
I need to move mine and was thinking of mounting it something like you have with just some aluminum angle. Right now it is just mounted with servo tape on my radio box but keeps coming loose.

I actually just set it on top of the slider, and zip tied it around. Haven't had any problems with it there and its easy to get to to turn on. Ive thought about moving it elsewhere but never really needed to. And its a waterproof traxxas esc so it can't get damaged.

It came with the kit, you should have gotten it. You have to buy the links though seperately, which is nice cause you get them upgraded from the plastic links to aluminum. I used to bend my links all the time from the rc getting jammed and the motor forcing it to bind up.

If you got the Honcho "KIT", it doesnt come with the plastic Axial 4-link truss. R2J Kustoms makes a nice one - even kinda scale looking after you hack the mount posts off the axel and fill the holes

I have a Honcho Kit.
Do you know what is the part number of the 4 kink kit? I want to buy one and I donīt know how to look for it.
Is there a number in the bag where he came?

I dont, sorry :( But that custom one looks pretty slick!

Heres some action shots. Crawls pretty well! Very surprised with the 65t motor, and the 2.2's.. The wheels have a little bit of weight added, but not a whole lot.

Back flex wasnt an issue, only a few times it would extend when I didnt want it to but its easy to manipulate to get back down again.

Was troubling here, the camera is tilted WITH the rig so it was at more of an angle than this

Front flex with the stock ax10 shocks, dont know the length

Pretty much max flex

Max flex in the rear

Neat shot

My favorite shot of the day. This was maxed out

Let me know what you think!

You should be able to find an Axial part # on the Axial site, but honestly, if you're going to pay for a truss kit, and the shipping to go with it, wouldn't you want the metal one by R2J?

Sorry Moony, I meant my comment to be directed to rop39301. I'm agreed, not sure I would buy that if I had one in the box...would rather spends the money on something sweeter

Nice rig! I have the TR also and ran the 2.2 loks on it. Then I got some of the new super swamper tsl's. It makes a big difference. The TSL's hook up alot better. I also just put a dig on and that is fun. Here's what mine is looking like.

Update! Been bouncing back and forth with my wraith and scale build. Was working on a 57 chevy body but its wheelbase was 10.5" and it flat out was too short. So, I went back to the beat up dingo body and put my wraith axles underneath mounted on some new 1.9 boggers. I love the look and the wide stance, looks almost natural for it. Next to it is my brother (VintageCopal) XJ-Honcho hybrid on full widths. Have yet to take them out, but later today well get some offroading pictures of them both. Excited to try them out.

My specs are now..

106mm links up front
91mm links in the rear
35t Integy
Waterproof Torquemaster ESC
Spektrum DX3e
3500 wolfpack batteries (need lypo really bad!)
1.9 boggers
Vanquish Diff Covers
Vanquish Tie Rod
Hitech 645MG
Stock shocks w/ soft tall springs off some no-name shocks
And ofcourse hacked up body and bumpers

Pictures! Any questions please let me know what you are wondering!

Some of my brothers

Stock gearing, motor was a 35t i believe

Heres some pictures of today. Performed really well! Need to work on the foams but the boggers did alright! I love the wide stance with a skinny scaler body. Gets me through some tight spots

Thankyou I like the look too, I need to somehow think of a way to cover up some exposed areas under the body so it doesnt look too open. I have another clear body I can start over with, I might do that soon. Was thinking white for color.. Hmm

Need to work on the tire foams too, i read that cutting the foam in the shape of a star helps with the boggers. Also need lipo batteries BAD
