| Axial SCX10 wheelbase questions
Can anyone help me with what length bars (pipes) make up which wheelbase for the Axial SCX10 Frame? I see so many different lengths and nobody seams to cross reference wheelbase with the length. Any help here will much appreciated.

Ok, the dingo(axial's land rover) has an 11.4" wheelbase. The short wheelbase belongs to this truck. the honcho(appearing to be a tacoma with a cage) has a 12.3" inch wheelbase. So by logic the honcho links are longer than the dingo's. I hope this helped. |

When you say 7x35 7x60 you really mean 7x95? Why 2 numbers?

Axial's aluminum link sets use 2 smaller posts for the upper links, and the one lower pipe for the lowers The 12" wheelbases of the G6 and Deadbolts use, at least for the lowers, the 98mm lower pipes front and rear. So you'd want to use the same on the back and front as the front of the 12.3" wheelbase. |

I don't know if it was a mistake, but I grabbed two sets of the AX30550 12.3 link sets, one for each Deadbolt we have, because they are listed as compatible on Axial's site. I must say Axial needs to work on their instructions. Do I put the 106mm on the front or rear? I have currently installed them on the front, with the longer uppers, and it pushed the tires forward. I even had to remove the cross brace in front of the servo for clearance. Should I move them to the back and put the 98mm in the front?

The 106 is for the rear. With it up front it will give you a better approach angle.im thinking about stretching the front or doing something with the bumper to better my rubicon 12.3wb

Tighter turning and better break over angle (less likely to high center on an obstacle).

Thanks, I love the mighty 83rd body but I didn't want to sacrifice too much to get it to fit right
