Default First outing at the beach - picture heavy!

This is my 1 week old 2012 Honcho RTR. There's a slight resemblance to my 1:1 Taco...well, maybe not.
I pulled some stickers off, added some accessories, added a 3Racing winch and cut out the front skid to clear the fairlead - otherwise it's pretty much stock. I'm planning on picking up some 2.2 wheels/tires and stuffing them under the stock suspension.
About this location - I realized early in to this that the SCX10 is capable of much, much more difficult terrain - but at least I got that new car smell off

Nice wheeling spot. I live on the relative coast as well (15 minutes away). We have similar wheeling around like that. Never an end to places, just too busy during summer months.

Honcho looks nice. I like the looks of the new model. Great color. Would be cool if you could fab a bed and top to match the 1:1 Haven's seen much for that option though except the tops for the Tamiya Hilux Yota.

I actually rolled it 3 times. This body won't scratch
Yeah I'm thinking of throwing a bed/camper on it. First I want my aluminum wheels though
This spot is at the end of my street, so it was convenient but way too easy. It does look like NH though.

What are bump stops? lol - seriously!
All I know is the front bumper/skids make the approach angle a whole lot worse than it could be. Tucking them in closer to the body would be good.

The little round rubber pieces on the shock shafts, take them off (or cut them off, your choice) and you get a bit more suspension travel.

Was gonna say you don't have much travel on your susp! Upgrade to 105mm if you go 2.2's!
