Baja claws seem to work well, my neighbor has them on a tj. You will like the ripsaws on your 1:10...they are grippy in wet and dry.

sweet. I hated the 2.2 ripsaws on my wraith though. way to hard.

Needed a basher body cuz im not quite ready to trash my xj body just yet.... had some extra tamiya paint layin around so threw on a quick exterior paint job and sprayed the transmitter wheel to match:

courtesy of Neo's genius brain, I cannibalized the light bar from my exo for my XJ build and slapped on a quick and dirty styrene roof rack I whipped up.

Disclaimer: Neoakaj did it first on his wraith....

Ya were pretty lucky here in Colorado Springs..... Crawlers paradise no doubt! The spot in the pics is about a 6 minute drive from the house.

Good luck on the build! I look forward to the thread for sure...

you will love the baja claws on your xj! my buddy had them on his and we had tons of fun!its really amazing what a stock jeep can do with good tires.. im going to get them for my scx10. i plan on doing a scale replica of my buddies jeep but its going to be hard to replicate the silhouette camo lol heres a pic

this pic was taken just before i bought him some thornbirds because the baja claws were getting pretty bald... i have a video on youtube if your interested in seeing the baja claws mudding..

lol i know there not the greatest tires but when your running slicks and someone offers you 33x12.5 tires with perfect tread on steel wheels for $25 id consider them good tires.. and that jeep has been a lot of crazy places so they cant be that bad of tire.. way better than slicks.........

Fact is, most folks would be lucky to have a solid friend willing to supply ANY tires
