| AX10 new servo install
I am a new member of the forum so bear with me if this has been asked before. I have an Axial AX10 that I have bought a Tower Pro MG945 servo for. When fitted it will centralize, but not work. What do I need to do as I have stripped the gear in the standard servo. |

did the servo that came out work other than busted gears? the new servo could be bad out of the box, if it centers and wont work from there |

The old servo does still work apart from the stripped gear. I have since opened the servo and turned the gear around 180 degrees to use the good side. This has worked, but on occasion when on full lock the servo seems to get hung up and will only respond when shut down and restarted again. I had read that the ESC may be a bit dicey in these. Would a better ESC solve this problem and a compatability with the MG945. |

A little more on the servo. I thought the servo getting hung up may be caused by some wear on the bush, so have used the bearing from the MG945. After a few minutes testing, it may have been the problem. |
