Hey guys, i'm a total noob! forum- to rc in general.. bare with me. i finally got rig to start building. picked up a brand new red tagged Dingo TR RTR. here are the questions. 1. i cant seem to figure out where to buy new links and how to stretch the wheel base. 2. when i turn my truck hesitates.. and make a weird noise. like its struggling. i thought maybe the slipper clutch? wasnt sure how it works or what it does.. so i tighted it up and seemed to get a lil better but same thing 3. is there a way to go from froward straight to reverse? seems like sometimes my reverse works and doesnt.. i gotta let it pause for awhile. 4. sometimes i full turn and i press the forward button and nothing happens but the lights dim.. this is a brand new rig with a new battery and all. any help and advise would be awesome! As for your question on where to buy links.....Axial makes a honcho long wheelbase kit, which includes all the aluminum links you need to stretch it out. Most online retailers carry them. Beware though, as your dingo body won't fit the wheelbase correctly! You'll need a body that fits the honcho! Quote:

i'll give it a shot. look at your axle joints when your wheels are turned all the way to one direction, check and see if the dog bone pin looks like it may be trying to slip out of the cup. an easy way to test this is to turn your wheels a little at the time until your truck starts the hesitation, then back off a tad and see if that helps. also when your turned all the way, is your servo whinning or feel like it's vibrating a little?
