Look up Stainless Steel Links in the Vendor section and you will find quite a few options. If you 4 link the front you will need to relocate the servo, so search for "CMS" Chassis Mounted Servo and you will see a host of options aswell.

Goood Luck!!

You don't have to move the servo to add a 4-link if you have the right plate. TCS makes a 4-link plate that keeps the servo in the stock position. I used to have the TCS 4-link I just mentioned on mine. I replaced it with a TCS Boomerang (have one on the rear too) and machined up a new bracket to relocate the servo. I did have to clearance the one crossmember and countersink the top of the plate for a flathead screw on both plates though. Not a big deal and works well.

I 4 linked the front and rear, using all stock hardware that came with the kit servo still on the axle.

My Dingo is 4 linked front and rear using the alum upgrade kit. Used the 4 link bracket that came with the Dingo extra parts and the stock servo mount. Fully compressed, the servo fits right into the cavity ahead of the radio box with all kinds of clearance.

The issue must be with longer wheelbased SCX10's

You can 4-link the front using the 4-link truss from the RTR model.
You can see how it works by looking at the link kit instructions.

Has anyone gone from an Axial aluminium 3 link front to an Axial aluminium 4 link front?
By Axial I mean all links and connectors being from the Axial aluminium link kit?

If so did you achieve slightly more articulation up front?

You will not gain articulation as it is the shocks that limit that, not the link setup (in the stock Axial config). The 3 link upper allows for way more articulation then the shocks can provide. Your down travel is limited by the shocks overall length. And the up travel is limited by the shock body bottoming out on the shock travel limiter on the shock shaft (if installed). Disconnect the shock from the rig and see how much the axle can travel. Much more then if the shock is installed, so it is not the link setup that is limiting it.

What a 4 link can help with is strength (3 link connection at the axle ball joint can pull out of the bracket). Or with performance with correct tuning. Too much to get into here about that.

And yes the Axial servo/4 link plate will work on an SCX10. I have it on one of mine. Though you may have to be creative with upper links to get the right pinion angle and caster. I run home made links lower and upper on the rig with the Axial 4link/servo mount so I am not sure if there is a stock link length setup that will measure out correctly.

Good luck

It's really late, but going from 3 link to 4 link also helps with axles movement from side to side. So it can perform the way it was designed to and help steering.

You have all the parts you need in the spair parts bag that came with your kit. If you bought the axial metal links kit you still have all the extra parts to 3 or 4 link and you will have the parts to set your pinnion angle in the aluminum links stuff. You don't need the extra 4 link plate. But it's your call. You will need the 4 link truss tho it's in the bag and the servo sit right on top of it just as before. This works on the dingo scx10 deadbolt and the ax10 scorpion I have all of them set up that way with the 4 link truss.
