so im browsing on craigslist today and see a ad for a "remote control jeep" i clicked on it hoping it was a new bright jk that someone was getting rid of only to see that it was really this.....

so theres really no kind of info on the truck on the ad but we all know what it is and what there worth....so i look the ad over and theres no number just a email and there was a price in the ad listing $30 bucks i thought it was a typo....so i drive an 1.5 hrs to meet this lady...when i got there she told me how she won it in a bingo thingy and figured that someone else would like it more than her (she was about 60)....i was still iffy but for $30 i couldnt bet the parts if it didnt run... its the ax2 version but i threw a battery in it and it runs perfect i was like holly cow.... she said it was never really ran also and you could tell maybe around the house over a chair

but not a sratch on this thing at all...by the looks of it i got a scx10 dingo so im gonna be working on my honcho and this at the same time so bare with me on the upgrades

ive installed the traxxas connector i seem to like them more than a deans

yeah sorry about that too! lol what it really needs its the baterry relocated at front you can do it with all the stock parts theres my scx10 my scx10 jeep rubincon

already relocated the battery up front like it came on the honcho lol gonna do the jenve kit when i get payed i have it on my honcho and like it... i have a wraith thats kinda both mine and my wifes lol but this scx10 im building for her...im gonna 4 link it front and rear but im gonna c if she wants the body on it or a 4dr new bright one...i dont wanna bore yall with every little mod

You got a hell if a deal.

I built 6 of these for my work. They had about $400 in them each after paying me to get and paint. We use these for marketing at home shows. Most of the folks that win these have no clue what there worth. Great find.

Yea the poor lady was about 60 and had no clue but she could tell I was super excited when she popped the trunk

Hey guys found a jeep jk 4dr at radio shack doesn't have a removeable top but the wheel base sits right at 10.8 - 11 yall think it'll wrk without shortening or just get a new bright....heres a link to the one at radio shack

hmm not sure about that body but i think it will fit nice if you go with the new bright you will need way longer wheelbase is that a dingo?

yea its a dingo i could always shorten the wheel base a little

Not a bad deal,
We picked up a RTR Stampede VXL w/ Xtra batts and a slew of parts for a half bottle of NITRO fuel....
He wanted a gallon, but I had to talk him down.....
J/K, I only had half gallon so I offered it..He took it...!
