| 4 link front axle
Does anyone make a 4 link that can be used on the front axle along with the servo mount? I need to leave my servo on the axle but I want to do a 4 link front. Thanks for your support.

The basic Axial 4-link truss works fine on the front. It's plastic, but I've not had any problems with it.

The Axial truss/upper link mount does away with one of the servo plate's mounting bolts. I run as-long-as-possible bolts in the other two mounting posts and it hasn't been an issue. The plastic truss also allows the rod ends to rub on the bottom of the servo plate. I could see wear marks after little use so I drilled a couple holes above the rod end bodies to allow clearance. I also used T-maxx 104mm turnbuckles for upper links. Worked perfect for me, as I stretched the front a couple mm's and clocked the pinion up. The benefit to the AX-10 style 4 link plate is the ability to run the upper links on top of the plate, increasing the axles vertical seperation. The downer is that you have shorter upper links, which create more pinion angle change. |

With the ax10 plate, making your own links is necessary to dial in your desired axle clocking. The hpi savage flux turnbuckles work awesome as upper links too, they allow for clocking to be changed on the fly. Then make your links afterwards copying their length.

The TCS front 4 link mount for the servo will work. You will have to clearance the crossmember and countersink the top holes for flathead screws. At least I had to on my stock height SCX-10.
