If your looking for a combo, a good one would be tekin 35t pro with the fxr pro or the holmes hobbies brxl and a torque master 35 or 27t motor you can find on amainhobbies.com. If your looking for just a motor a tekin 35t or a torquemaster 35 or 27t. Hoped this helped.
When i had my scx10 i just upgraded to the aluminum axial shocks.

It really depends on what you like... I'm pretty happy with the stock 27t motor speed but it does lack some torq so I'd go with a 35t or a good 27t.. As for shocks I'm happy with the stock articulation so I went with the proline shocks (which you actual lose some articulation with) but quilty and performance is better then most.

I have a tekin 35t pro setup with the axial ae-2 esc and i love it, i like it better than the tekin fxr pro.

A 4" big bore is what I run an is perfect for articulation an super smooth. If ur goin for scale looks in ur shocks the power strokes are for look. I find them to not be as smooth or nice as the big bore or even the scx-10 shocks.
You can't ever go wrong with a fx-r, no need for a pro. The ae-2 is a ok route as well, its a castle sidewinder for the most part. It's a castle product.

If you only want to ever buy one motor.. HH 27t or 35t handwound, torque master pro...

What kind of spring set up are you using on your big bores? Mini T's or stock
