Did some minor adjustments and replaced the front lowers with some older ones that were in better shape. Also tweaked the panhard since for some reason it was too long with the revo rod ends and was pushing my axle towards the passenger side. Had to replace both of them with extra Axial rod ends for the front axle to straighten out. Then I noticed I was getting some binding on the passenger front shock with the back of the Hand Bros truss so I tweaked it a bit. The air pressures on both front shocks had to be readjusted as well with from the aeration screw which is pretty cool.

Went ahead and regreased all the drive pin joints on the shafts including the bones as well.

Adjusted the rear shocks as well and buttoned down everything down and now she's good to go!!

Throwing on a dualed out scale exhaust next...

Thanks! Not too much hard work went into it looking back...this was really a basher rig built from the original SCX10 kit released a few years ago. Then I decided it needed more love and threw on a proper hard body to match my 1:1 then got carried away lol. As for the custom metal work all I really did was pitch in ideas off different baja style competition race trucks and some street flair...the bumpers and sliders were done by Phillip (ScaleReady) up in Washington state.

That truck is absolutley amazing, inspired me to build a tundra of my own. if you dont mine me asking do you remember how much you paid for the front and rear bumpers? thanks in advance. I see that you mounted the bed with out any mods to the rear. Do you have any recomendations when mounting the body to the bed?

I paid $60 shipped for the bumpers and the sliders as a package from ScaleReady (Phillip) who's a vendor on here. PM him and he will get with you. Great guy to deal with and we just shot ideas back and forth until we were set on this design.

I mounted the bed with body posts and black mini body clips that blend into the black bed. The front end is hell down with heavy duty 3M velcro the kind that's supposed to be waterproof. I've redone the front mounting a couple of times and this seems to be working out fine. The rear never had issues.

I thought I'd share some pics of my new setup and some action pics. Wow this rig's suspension is ridiculous!! Always felt in control...next couple of plans to install are a new 35t Holmes motor and 32p conversion I have laying around.

And...one on top of my 1:1

Just courious as to how you attached that custom front mounting plate to the stock body posts, screws? I just got the tundra body but only the cab because I'm making a truggy. Kinda stumped on how to mount it w/o making holes.

I would make a set of sliders and put a plate behind where the 4 holes are in the body stock from the factory, drill those holes in the plate and bam! there's you mounting.
