Hey man don't take it personally.
Your doing the right stuff as in showing progress on the build.
I like where you have taken this and want to see what you have planned for the drives.
Awesome exo cage. Where did you find that one?
Keep us updated.

^^^^ its cool just kinda feel like im chattin to myself a tad.... maybe i am who knows. The exo is a rcmodelex, in hindsight i wish i woulda gotten the one w/the basket but oh well.
So, after much mocking up the links are FINALLY done, yes, i'm slow at this as this is all new to me in certain aspects. Servo is in , steering links made as well. I decided to not go cms since the SWB will already have me fighting a high CG, and not much room left on the cut down frame horns.

i suppose up next is to make a xfer crossmember so i can get a driveshaft length. Got the rear hoops tig'd and grinding the welds down and in the middle of using some JB to blend them all in nicely.

Trans is not going back in it, putting a 1:1 transfer in there instead.

Not a lot done today, drilled out the holes in the bumper and got lights/lens in, and got the bumper n carrier on. I like it, but i can't seem to find a bumper that kinda matches the rear. Just gotta keep looking i guess.

Went ahead had some extra time to mount the "tank"

Just barely enough room but it fits.

today i did a little mocking up on the xfer, here's what i came up with as far as placement.

the input side

and from da back

that brings my drives at a very respectable 8(front)/10(rear) degrees on the u joints, and still left me with a tad over 3 3/8" ground clearance. didn't check the angle on the transfer shaft but by eye it looks like it will be good as well. Luckily i had my very old honcho plastic shafts still around so i could cut them down to get some measurements. Making a mount for this outta be interesting ....
Thoughts on this anyone? good? bad?
