They are holding up great. I have to keep them tightened down quite a bit to hold up all the weight, but they are very smooth and they have leaked very little over the time i had them on.

-Update-

- Drilled holes for scale lugs on Titus wheels
- Made a few battery trays
- Tried to make a snorkel. Not sure about it yet
- Put Boggers back on. Dialed in the foams and
they seem to be doing great.

Looks great with the cut Boggers. Going to try them or the Iroks as soon as my Baja Claws wear out. Burnouts!

I really need to step my game up in the electronics department...no lights, no winch, no BEC. What did you use for rock lights, size and brightness? I'd like to set up something functional for night crawling.

Thanks, the Bogger's have been surprising me lately. The ledge in the video is something only the TSL/SX could get up. The pit bull's never got it, and the Bogger's couldn't get it for the longest time. I finally really got the foams set up good and got them broke in a little and they can get the ledge every time.

The rock light is the remaining light from the stock setup. One burnt out so i found a way to make use of the one that still worked. Just mounted a small light-bucket on the back of the bumper mount. I just got done doing some night wheelin, and it works great even with one light.

Cut the Tsl/sx up a little. It actually helped quite a bit.

-Details about previous update-

- Put in Holmes Hobbies torque master brxl

- Got a 21 turn Armature for the HH torque master pro

- FINALLY switched to a lipo, 2s 30c 4000mah

- MTHead hooked me up with some new TR rings

- Scale hardware for Beadlock rings

-Got the 1.9 XL TSL, Tire grips for days, cut them up too

- I had to stuff 2.2 memory foams in these + an inner foam from
crawler innovation, and still have original Proline weights front + rear
this is simply because the truck is really heavy.

- Cut up the front bumper for better clearance and put to use a
fairlead from RC4Wd. Winch line is now braided line
for fishing. The braid has not broke one time super tough

- Extended front and rear axle 5mm, Worth having to re-cut every link

-JFAB for wheel wideners

-Dinky rc interior

- Rouge Elements hubs

- R2J sliders , and winch ancor

- Vanquish transmission housing

- Stiff springs from axial on the PL shocks

Scale Hardware

Cut bumper/Fairlead/Scale hardware

Hey nice job man, how's about an update?

P.s. a few of us will be at Chandler on Sunday, bring that bad mother honcho, and let's do work.

Felt like this thread needed to be brought back now that the 10.2 honchos are out. I know there is a whole other section for 10.2’s, but body mods on the honcho and deadbolt should be relevant to both sections.

I recently bobbed my bed as well, didn’t find this post until after I jumped in on mine as search options for “Honcho bobbed bed” brought back some slim pickings.

If you want to alter your honcho body’s wheelbase, this bobbing the bed or taking the cab to a regular from extended are some clean ways to fit the body on a shorter wheelbase chassis set up.

Here is my leafed rear honcho with the bed bobbed.
