(Sluggo) To help put this into perspective, your 3s 2100's are comparable to ~3300mAh 2s packs (half of his).

Good luck with your build sluggo!
I run Thunder Power LiPos.

An hour sounds about right. I'm not sure why they encouraged you to run a 6-cell NiMH pack, especially on a 3s capable brushless setup. Aside from the weight savings for a given capacity, LiPo has a higher discharge rate to power the more demanding brushless setups. NiMH probably does fine on a brushless crawler, but I'd have gone LiPo all the way. My 3s packs weigh 1/4 of a comparable 6 cell NiMH pack and supply much higher and more stable voltage under load. A win-win for sure.

Sorry for the segue Sluggo. Good luck with the electro research. It pays off.

After running lipo, I'll never go back to nimh....

I would assume that crawlers would benefit just as much as my racers from running lipos.

Thanks again for the info guys...keep it coming!

Can styrene sheets be sourced from Hobby Lobby or Michaels?

A quick search on their websites didn't turn up anything. I searched for both "styrene" and "Plastruct", a common brand of styrene products. I know HobbyTown carries Plastruct styrene products. I made some front fender liners out of .040"(or 1mm) thick styrene sheet.

Oh thanks. I'll give HT a look, just not one very close to home. Might just look online.
