I would consider something with a little more power. With a 5A max charge current that charger will be busting it's hump without even being able to charge that battery pack at 1C. Also, if you get a charger that only accepts DC power, be sure you have a power supply with enough wattage and a ~12V output.

I charge all my packs at 1C and use a similar charger (Turnigy Accucell 6) for small packs from 2s 360mAh to 3s 2200mAh and it works great for that, but even though it can handle a 5A charge rate, it already runs pretty warm on a 2.2A charge rate.

You will be pushing those components (charger+power supply) pretty hard to get a respectable charge rate for those 5300mAh packs, but I suppose it would work. I personally wouldnt use that setup for anything much more than a 3A charge rate.

I would suggest a charger capable of 10A+ charge rate, and a power supply that can provide 1.5-2 times that of the chargers max charge rate.

I use a Thunder AC6 to charge my packs. Takes a little while to charge higher capacity batteries, but it gets the job done and was only $45. I have heard good things about those turnigy nano-tech batterise, tho. I've been thinking about picking one up myself

charged my truck up and took it out today on the new lipo (5300mha 2s 30c) and it performed flawlessly ran for an hour straight the esc and motor got a little warm in my opinion but u could still touch them with no problem. got back home plugged in to charger to put it in storage mode and my charger said that both cells where at 3.86 volts i am very pleased with this combo
