I rough cut the doors out of the body. I kept the hinges so that it looks 'right'. I'll clean up the cuts later. For now, my main goal is to reinforce the body. The roof is now fused onto the back. I will reinforce that from the inside when the time comes. I will be building an exo cage for Liam, and I am considering doing some PSC style fender flares as well. |

I forgot to mention that the only thing I am keeping from the interior is the dash. I am going to fabricate the rest. I have yet to check the width, but I am thinking of using Wraith seats front and rear.

| Re: Liam (Pic & Tech HEavy) Testors Super Glue. It's pretty impressive stuff. However, it'll be reinforced with fiberglass bondo and plastic sheets. The super glue is more or less to hold it in place while I do the hard core reinforcement. |

Final cuts to the doors are done. I also trimmed off the tabs on the interior of the roof, since it will be getting a sheet of styrene to reinforce it. Here's the genius of Shon's (R2j) design. It pinches the rocker panels, giving a great deal of rigidity to the body. Here you can see that the hinges are still in tact. I think that adds a really good scale 'touch' to the overall look of the rig. |

That rear bumper is S-W-E-E-T! Had it not been for the project pic you posted, I would have thought it was bent from a solid bar of metal.

My new camera came in the mail today! So... I had to take a couple of shots to try it out. You can see that I mounted my winch. I also took out the Hitec HS-7950TH and replaced it with a Hitec HS-M7990TH. Steering torque will NEVER be a problem with Liam on the 1.9 Pit Bulls. That servo is taking overkill to the highest level. |

Been SUPER busy with selling our house and getting our new house ready to go, so not much to report. However, Shon (R2j) came over today and left with Liam in hand. He's going to build the roll cage and get the rear bumper mounted. I need to move a little quicker on Liam so that I have something to go run on the trails when Fiona takes a trip out to California to meet her maker. Well... sort of anyway. ;)

Duuuuuuuuude!!! Liam's new shoes showed up today! These are the nicest 1.9 wheels I have ever seen. Seriously... I'll be taking studio pictures of them soon. |

| Re: Liam (Pic & Tech HEavy) Here are some studio pictures of the wheels. Please excuse the poor lighting. I'm in the middle of moving... Anyway, these are lighter than the 1.9 10 Hole LE's I was running. Jake really went all out on this design. These wheels are absolutely SICK!!!! You WILL NOT find a better wheel for the money ($90-$115 per set of 4 sans SLW Hubs). I tried my MTHead rings on. They fit great, but I really like the remachining on the interior lip, so I'm going to stick with the factory rings to show that off. Note how well the bead of the tire seats into the bead lock channel. I have NEVER had a tire slip or come out of a bead on my Motoworx Racing wheels. |
