Default FXR Esc, recommended drag brake for JK kit?

I have my kit built and all my electronics, including my FXR and Tekin 35T. I have only very limited experience with drag brake, mostly just the 'smart brake' system on the Twin Hammers. I know the FXR has like 11 settings for drag brake, but I wondered if people with more experience might have a recommendation as to what setting to use.

My rig is mostly stock, and i need to move the battery tray over the front. I will be using, most likely, Zippy 2200 Compact 3s batteries, so they won't be that heavy. And I'd like it to creep just slightly up or down. I plan to play with it and figure it all out, but a jumping off point is all I really wish to find. Thanks

Nah really, it depends if you want a slow roll, or more of a lock up.

Just play with it.

Well I will start with a three and see what I can do from there. I would more like it to roll very slowly than to lock up completely, but then again some of the hills on the land we have are pretty steep, so maybe a solid stop would be better. Either way, heh.

I like lots of drag brake but it definitely tests how smooth you are with the throttle. Once you figure out how to roll off the throttle a lot of drag brake works great. If you can't get smooth with the throttle release than you will endo every time you bump over a gap. I say try it with lots of drag brake and practice getting smooth.
