| Getting ready to make the plunge.
Hey guys. Been researching the scx10 a lot lately and as much as i would love to get a TF2 i think the skill involved is just abit high for me plus the cost so ive decided to go with an scx10. I do love the truck and cant wait to get my hands on one. But of course im trying to do it somewhat cheap. Im trying to find a used one that fits my style but if i dont i was wondering if you guys could explain the difference between these two kits. The dingo kit Axial SCX10 w/ Dingo Body (kit) And the Jeep rubicon kit Axial SCX10 2012 Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon,Poison Spyder RC, Poison Spyder My vision is more that of the rubicon so if i got the cheaper dingo kit id still work towards the jeep look. But what im wondering is if its worth the extra 80 bucks in better parts or should i go cheaper and upgrade things like driveline. Any info is welcome and thanks for everyones time. |

If you plan to go towards the Rubicon look then buy the Rubicon. By the time you invest in the body, links to fit the Rubicon wheelbase, and aluminum shock bodies, you're going to be close to that $80.00 difference. You could make your own links however. The Dingo kit has the shorter wheelbase and plastic shock bodies.
