Default My Chopped-Cage Dingo Build

I've gotten back into the RC scene after a long hiatus. Walked into my local Hobbytown and saw a Dingo kit that I just couldn't stop myself from buying.

I built it up stock with some Icon alumnium shocks my bro had laying around.

Hated everything about the roll cage on the Dingo, so I chopped it up a bit to get more of a Bronco/Pick Up truck look.

I used an EVX ESC out of an old E-MAXX so I could take advantage of the extra motor outputs and wire up reverse lights that actually come on when I go into reverse. Running a 45 turn lathe motor and a Hitec 645 MG ultra torque servo for steering.

So far I've weighted the wheels and 4-linked the rear. I'm trying to just enjoy driving this one and upgrading as I break it. I have the bug to build a wraith and mod the hell out of it...

Yes it's being driven by Perry the Platypus

Put a hard top over the remaining cage and you'll have a Dingo pick up truck. I like it.

Looks great, are those pics at ficklen mill, VARCOR has comps there, nice place to crawl. Check out the VA section on here and varcor.org/forum if your looking for people to crawl with, hope to meet you some time.

Yep, pics were taken at Ficklen. Such a perfect spot. I think I remember seeing something about that group back when I had some comp crawlers. I'll check out those forums. Thanks for the heads up!
