I bought a new (to me) one. Super clean and apparently only had 2 packs run through it.

Installed an ssd winch on my Deadbolt and took it for a ride with two pals. Also new on the Deadbolt is a 550 21t motor.

Also made some progress with another scx10 which is supposed to be some kind of jeepspeed inspired basher.. or something like that.

Took Ole# 6 to the therapy and spa trail today. Gave him a good yoga flexing gave him a therapeutic mud bath (no the scratches didn't disappear and dents didn't get any smaller)then took him swimming in the fresh water stream . Got a good day at the trail spa, but on the last climb up the waterfall Ole #6 gave up a cvd stub axle- snapped rt at end of shaft before the cvd joint, sorry no pics, was gonna buy a star, but now need new cvd's!

Started reworking the body mounts on my Subaru build. Had to raise it up a bit and move it back. Still need to make new links to recenter the rear axle. Then I'll be able to fit some usable tires under there. The 3.3" Baja MTZ's Just weren't very capable on a rig this size.

I still can't figure out how to post pics here, But I've added a Yota FJ 45 Body (a guy here in the German Forum makes them) and I have removed my bec, cause the HW 1080WP does just fine without it, also added gmade steel rims ( I believe they are the sro2's) a set of VooDoo's KLR's in 1.9, an rc4wd warn winch is going to replace the dead 3racing one, in the rear axle I have put a one piece Titan axle with a glued and bolted diff locker, in the front a nice heavy and heavy duty diff locker and brass links made from solid stock (really helped to get the weight where I wanted it ), That's it for now!!!! Have fun Folks seeya!!!!

Swapped out my Axial 27T motor for a HH Crawlmaster Expert 540 13T. The gears are stock except for a 14T pinion. Amazing improvement! So smoooooth at startup. As in life changing, lol!!

Converted my G6 to a truggy: Honcho flat bed + ProLine Ford F100 front. The body works great with the 12” G6 wheelbase (vs 12.3” for the Honcho). I used metallic blue backed by silver. The “97” is painted on; the rest are decals. I painted the entire interior black at the end and used Testors Dullcote on the flat bed — left the body shiny.

Finally got my Honcho going again. It's had a long life and is parted back together. Was a Wroncho for a year or so and then became a parts donor to get two other rigs completed. Now it's back together with new HR rails, an 80t motor, and CMS. All bought here and used are tranny, axles, driveshafts, stamped steelies, and tires. The only things original are the body, baby shocks, and the RTR plastic links because I haven't made a set of links yet.

Flip the center section of the rear cage and it becomes a little handle to carry or move with you finger.

Vanquish Merhods with LockedUp RC acorns and wheel hubs. I’m using 725 SLWs. The hubs are mounted on stand-offs so they don’t disappear into the bottom of the wheel ...

After two years sitting on a shelf I finally started working on my old honcho. More out of nessisty then any thing. 2 weeks ago I set my hard body scx-10ii on the same shelf. Since they are both crawlers I added some display rocks also. The wall couldn’t handle the weight. The shelf with everything on it and part of the wall itself came crashing down.

The hb 10ii survived with just some windows and scale parts knocked loose. Which was surprising. The honcho built as a 55 Chevy truggy wasn’t as lucky. The rear mounts for the cab broke off. 4 of the six cage mounts broke loose.

I fixed the 10ii right away but just threw the honcho right back on the shelf all battered up. Until yesterday. I was looking at the two and started wondering how the stock 10ii body would fit and look with the bumper and cage I built for the 55 truggy. So after a couple hours of trimming and cutting not to mention digging through parts I got the body mounted.

I decided to go for the Jeep challenge/ desert truck look. I have the body set back a tiny bit on the chassis. With some work with the rear links I can get the rear axle centered but will leave the front axle a bit forward.

Sorry no pics right now. Will get some tonight.

Bad picture but it was a quickie

I need to build a trailer now for them...

Yesterday I took it apart and added some parts. Today more of the same thing and hopefully the next day the many parts will be 1, although it won’t be much of a crawler when I’m done.....
