Did you braze or weld it? I've been tempted to experiment

Update: esc is good, esc is good. I guess it just didn't like being inside a box and hit the overheat protection. I took it out of the enclosure, plugged it in and now works fine. I'll just mount it out in the open.

Today I painted the truggy cage, blue to match the beadlock rings , On my 4" shocks I swapped out the 3" springs for the 4" springs so I gained uptravel some uptravel but have the same ride height as before , added a Castle BEC to get rid of my brownouts caused by the savox servo. I am thinking about getting some 5mm spacers so I can outboard the lower mounts on the rear shocks.

I usually wrap 3.5oz of tape weights around the outside of the wheel. You could use solder or wire, not sure how much weight you'll get.

Tested out my scx10 with since I added pitbulls and OD gears a new brushed motor and turned it into a truggy. Wow it's amazing but my esc died so I was forced to buy a new one today. While there I bought some 4" super soft losi springs since my current medium springs are too firm

I like that idea for mounting and pivoting the body. I have been using zip ties on the back of the frame for the same purpose. Got a pic of the body side with that?

Added a CC 10amp BEC, waterproofed the receiver box, and servo.

Then made snow chains using 31' of #16 jack chain. I have two deadbolts, 31' made enough for eight tires. With the stock tires and spending 2-3 hours with different configurations and testing. I liked the following set-up:
Each tire is 22 links long. The cross members are 5 links with 11/tire.

Here you can see a jig I made to really speed things up.

On the tire
