| Installing ax2 transmission
I got an rc4wd ax2 transmission for Christmas and I don't think it is gonna be a direct fit the way my scx10 is setup. I have the battery mounted up front and as low as it will go. The transmission servo will hit the battery mount the way it sits now. I don't want to buy new batteries or move them anywhere else if I don't have to. The only option I see is to flip my skid plate and mount the tranny "backwards" so the shift servo will be on the rear of the truck. This will give me plenty of clearance and should bolt right in. Sounds like it will work, I just have to reverse my motors rotation, other than that looks like it will work no problem. Anyone have any input on doing it like that before I tear into it this week?
