That's a bummer. What changes/impovements are you planning, Beef Tubes, Currie Axles, etc?

I have run Wraith and SCX beef tubes in the past, and while I loved the Wraith ones, the SCX housing still break at the same spot with the tubes. I'm just going to replace the housing for now, maybe go to Curries in the future. I have a few projects going on at once right now so I have to spread out the budget. |

Wow, what caused it to break there? That's the beauty of this hobby, have some fun, break something, fix it, and have more fun. |

| Re: Treys1's G6 Beating on it caused the break. We were doing a few hill climbs that had failed attempts landing with most of the weight right there on the left rear.

Cut my helper springs in half and used half per corner. Had to flatten the perch side out so they would site straight, but this gave me the ability to run the preload as loose as possible while keeping the main spring in the bucket when extended. I also went to 45 weight oil. Truck seems to do pretty good right now. I may tear the shocks down and limit the extension ~5mm For anyone curious about Hobbywing, here is a video where you can see the completely cog-free low end control of a Hobbywing Justock ESC & Hobbywing v10 17.5t motor. Several times the tires are barely spinning and I still have complete control. |

Decided to: - Go up to a 13.5t - Move electronics up front. I wanted the electronics up front to knock down some of the wiring, as well as make room for the eventual servo winch that will be mounted on the plate in the rear. Made the plate out of some Delrin. Shifted everything slightly passenger side to offset the motor a little. And of course after that I got out to run with some friends: |
