| Easy battery removal?
Hey guys. I was just wondering, for those of you with the SCX10 that has the removable top, have you figured out an easier way to remove/plug in the battery without having to unscrew the top every single time? Yes I know I can run it without the top, but I love how it looks with that top on there...it just gets annoying needing to unscrew it every single time.

Put the top on with velcro or use some stealth body mounts such as these; Magnetic Stealth Body Mounts (Silver)- R2 [5068_S] - $19.99 : Black Star Hobbies, Let's Race! or these..... Adjustable Bar Stealth Body Mount (Silver) - R2 [5042_S] - $16.00 : Black Star Hobbies, Let's Race! They use magnets to hold the body to the mounts, work very well as I have used them before. I see they are out of stock but can find them other places as well. |

You don't have to unscrew the top, Mine is a rubicon and there is a single mount can be clipped between the spare tire and the body. |

U don't need to use the rear body mounts. Use a body remer to make a hole in the back Window of the hard top to go around the rear tire carrier. When u put the pin in the back it will hold the body on just fine.. I'm assuming ur using the jk body with hard top.

And that's if he is using the spare. The "stealth" mounts work really well and on a new build / body eliminate body holes and make it more scale looking. They are strong too, you can pick a rig up off the ground by the body when using them. The drift car guys use them thats how I found out about them. |

Oh okay thanks guys! Yes, I'm using the spare tire so that sounds like a good idea. Those stealth mounts look great as well...will have to consider those. Thanks for the replies!
