| Shocks for more travel?
Would like to get some more suspension travel as the stock shocks seem a bit short. I'm looking at either the PL Scaler shocks using the longer bottom end like for 95mm or the kings 100mm. Kings seems to get mixed reviews with leaking being the biggest concern. The biggest fix for that seems to be green slime on the bottom O-ring. The below 2 links has me swayed towards the kings. Can't seem to find videos showing the PL Scaler in action. Note: the first video I believe is using a hard body vs lexon which seem to cause alot of body roll https://youtu.be/ferXPqP1lck https://youtu.be/v2mb7kSvoCE Last edited by Jeep757; 01-30-2018 at 09:56 AM. |

RC4WD King shocks suck. Avoid them. Why do you want more travel? The SCX10 has plenty. Remember, flex is overrated and too much actually really hurts performance. Proline shocks are amazing. |

Waffett's vid is nice but more stylized for scale realism so I think he picked the Kings for looks only. Otherwise many have dealt with the leaking problem and I don't think it's worth it compared to Traxxas Big Bores or Pro-Line Powerstrokes. PL scalers are nice but not worth the full price after owning them IMO.
