Hello, nice to see another Axial owner. My advice on the Dingo build is to pay attention to the lengths of screws closely when building, useing lock tight on the screw inside the driveshafts, lock tight on the tranny outputs and be sure to seat the pinion in the axles. When building the axles sometimes it goes smooth with no interference and sometimes you get binding. When the pinion and ring gear bind it is usually caused by the pinion not being seated all the way onto the bearings in the housing. there is usually a little resistance when they are new, but will wear in from running. Hope this helps.

FYI, unless Axial has fixed this problem, some of the packages are mislabeled according to the directions. It's weird, all of the parts called for a together, but in a different letter bag. Just a head's up. Anyway, have fun and take your time. |

My 2 cents... forget about the glue-on walker rims, and invest a little on beadlocks... So much easier to be able to change tires or try out foams. Plus they don't have to cost a lot to work. Axial' own 1.9 beadlocks work great. Have fun! Building is the best part!

Thanks for the pictures, you're doing good so far...now get it done! JK If I were to suggest upgrades then I would get some aluminum c-hubs, knuckles, lockouts, transmission gears, axle gears, shocks, driveshafts, and so on. If you don't upgrade these things then you could have major chaos out on the trail, you can trust me from experience with this chassis.

Replace as you break is good advice. You will see that a lot of opinions will surface! The main thing to replace on any kit to me is the knuckles & wheels. The chubs could strip in time but brass inserts fix that cheap, lockouts not that necessary. The shocks & (diff)gears will do just fine. The trans gears is a great upgrade(Hot Racing) just don't buy he one piece gear that Robinson racing offers!!! Also all this depends on motor choice & the weight if the rig! A few searches on any forum will blow your mind with info. Good luck |

Not the stock outputs they are the same size on scx rigs. Wraith has longer rear due to tranny being longer to accommodate wheelbase.
